Yankee Luxury Co. Vehicle Rental Process (Step-by-Step)

Step 1 — Choose Your Rental Type

Self-Drive Rental (you drive)

Chauffeur Service (we provide a professional driver)

Note: Driver’s license + insurance requirements apply to Self-Drive rentals.

A. Self-Drive Rental (You Drive)

Step 2 — Submit a Booking Request

Customer provides:

  • Pickup & return date/time

  • Pickup location (or delivery address)

  • Vehicle choice (or “recommend best option”)

  • Number of drivers (primary + additional drivers)

Step 3 — Upload Required Documents (Mandatory)

Primary driver must upload:

  • Valid driver’s license (front & back)

  • Proof of insurance (active policy) showing driver name + valid dates

  • Credit/Debit card (for deposit + rental charges)

If additional drivers:

  • Driver’s license for each additional driver

  • Insurance proof may be required for each, depending on policy

Step 4 — Verification & Approval

We verify:

  • Driver’s license validity

  • Insurance status

  • Payment method + deposit authorization

  • Basic eligibility checks (age requirements if applicable)

If verification fails, the booking cannot be confirmed.

Step 5 — Receive Quote + Rental Agreement

Customer receives:

  • Final price (rental + delivery + taxes/fees if any)

  • Deposit amount + refund terms

  • Mileage policy (daily limit or unlimited, if offered)

  • Fuel policy

  • Late return policy

  • Damage responsibility terms

Customer must:

  • Sign the rental agreement

  • Accept terms & cancellation policy

Step 6 — Secure Payment & Deposit

To confirm:

  • Pay rental total (or required deposit)

  • Deposit/hold is placed on card (refundable if no issues)

Step 7 — Vehicle Pickup or Delivery

At handoff:

  • ID re-check (license must match)

  • Quick walk-around + photo inspection

  • Confirm fuel level + mileage

  • Keys released to approved driver only

Step 8 — During the Rental

Customer agrees to:

  • Drive responsibly and follow all traffic laws

  • No unauthorized drivers

  • No smoking (if your policy)

  • Notify us immediately for accidents or breakdowns

Step 9 — Return & Final Inspection

At return:

  • Vehicle inspection + photos

  • Fuel/mileage checked

  • Any tolls/fees/late charges applied if needed

Step 10 — Deposit Release

Deposit is released after:

  • Inspection is complete

  • No damage/excess mileage/late return

  • All tolls/fees are settled

(B) Chauffeur Service (We Drive)

Step 2 — Request Booking

Customer provides:

  • Pickup date/time + locations

  • Number of passengers + luggage

  • Preferred vehicle

  • Trip type (one-way / round trip / hourly)

Step 3 — Confirm Quote & Pay

  • Confirm price

  • Pay to reserve (or deposit if required)

  • Receive confirmation + driver assignment (when available)

No driver’s license or personal insurance is required for chauffeur bookings.

Insurance Requirements (Self-Drive)

To rent, customer must provide active insurance that covers:

  • Liability coverage (minimum required)

  • Comprehensive/collision coverage (recommended)

Corporate rentals: we may request a COI (Certificate of Insurance) naming your company and confirming coverage.
